The Physiological Society engages in a substantial amount of Outreach activity, both with schools and the public. The primary purpose is to raise the profile of physiology and The Society but we also see it as an opportunity to explain some of the most interesting or more complicated areas of the discipline.

Throughout the year, The Society works with the membership to host activities that will engage younger audiences in physiology. The scientists in the community section identifies those activities that are delivered on an ad-hoc basis to our members, the festivals section lists some of the activities we provide as part of larger festivals that are run by other organisations.
