Guardian Science is producing a series of videos in association with British Heart Foundation, called "Affairs of the Heart". This first video is called "The story of a single heartbeat" and features Member of The Society Professor Michael Shattock from King's College London.

The series is part of the British Heart Foundation's Mending Broken Hearts appeal.
